Network Engineer - Tandym

• Plans and implements Core networks and related hardware and software.
• Designs and documents network architecture. Performs assessments on existing technologies to determine provisioning and capacity gaps.
• Establishes, circuit provisioning and connectivity and access parameters.
• Provides recommendations to optimize network infrastructure.
• Tests and turned up optical waves, devices and systems.
• Programs routers and switches and optical platforms.
• Manages network services from understanding planning systems through implementation.
• Solid knowledge of routing protocols, network hardware and software, optical networking and network infrastructure is required.

Qualifications:

• CCNP (Juniper and Cisco) experience.
• Optical Networking experience and strong routing and switching.
• Engineering and operations experience.

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
