Network Engineer III - Suffolk, VA (On-Site)
We are seeking a candidate to work in the Field Technology Services team, with strong technical skills to manage, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and update software, hardware, and networking.
Responsibilities:
- Provide implementation and guidance of complex work items involving educational software products such as AZTEC, Lexis Nexis, GED Academy, Auto CAD, Teknimedia, Alexandria, Elevate and similar software packages.
- Provide technical support to include workstation and server hardware, software and operating systems, networking hardware, software and infrastructure, and various operating systems software.
- Independently installing, updating and management of applications and hardware at the assigned facilities.
- Independently installing, updating, and managing networks
Qualifications:
- A combination of desktop, server & network support is required within a fast-paced, delivery-oriented agile environment.
- Experience with Windows operating systems such as Win10, Server 2016/2019/2022.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues in various operating systems and application software in a LAN / standalone environment.
- Experience with Imaging Computers
- Securing Networks and Endpoints
- Building, Deploying, and Maintaining Servers
Additional information:
- This position must be able to perform with minimal direct supervision and may be required to use their home as a base of operation
- *Candidate will be required to drive a state vehicle. Therefore, they MUST have and maintain a clean driving record.
