ONSITE at Rockefeller Plaza
Seeking a highly motivated and energetic candidate for the position of Network Engineer, with Linux and Web admin experience being a big plus. Looking for an individual who can perform Senior level Network administration and troubleshooting duties.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Hands-on knowledge of networking principles accross L1-L7, configuration, troubleshooting and installation
-Experience with configuration of Brocade and/or Arista switches/routers: routing, VLAN/port setup and provisioning, access lists. Cisco experience is a plus.
-Experience with running a distributed, multi-network environment: performance, availability, monitoring
-Work with vendors to resolve HW issues
-Linux system and Web administration skills a big plus
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Excellent time management skills
-Candidate should be able to think 'outside the box' and troubleshoot complex, live/production infrastructure challenges.
-Capable of working in a team environment.
Quals--
5-7 years' experience
B.S. degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or other technical discipline
