Network Engineer
Location: Irvine, CA or Irving, TX
Duration: 6 Month Contract (Possible Contract to Hire)
Interview Process: Phone
Pay: $39/hr on w2 all-Inclusive no benefits.
Qualifications:
6+ years voice network engineering experience.
Avaya Aura (IP) Telephony Engineering Experience
Experience overseeing efforts of Engineering staff
Experience with Avaya Aura 6.x, Voice Mail, Voice Portal, System & Session Manager, CMS, ETC.
Updating/modifying and aligning experience to new processes is preferred
Responsibilities:
Serves as a Lead technical resource on VoIP projects and voice communications issues.
Oversees planning/execution to existing systems to meet support standards and compliance and security standards for voice systems.
Directs less experienced staff.
Develops specifications for complex systems, design, document and test voice communications solutions.
Designs complex system upgrades.
Leads the evaluation of modifications for compliance/security, vendor proposals, conducts traffic analyses, develops network architectures, prepares forecasts of network traffic and capacity, and recommends modifications to the configurations that reduce costs or improve service.
