About the Job
About the Role:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable network architectures based on Cisco technologies.
- Develop and document network design specifications, including diagrams and technical documentation.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions into larger IT projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues in a timely manner.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve network infrastructure.
- You have a Cisco CCNP Datacenter or Enterprise, CCIE or CCDE certification.
- You have 5-10 years of experience in Configuring, and troubleshooting networking equipment
- You have strong knowledge and skills in network design, architecture, and optimizing network solutions.
- You have extensive knowledge of routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching technologies (e.g., VLANs, STP, VTP, and VRF’s).
- You have experience with network security technologies (e.g., firewalls, VPNs, ACLs, 802.1x)
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- You are a team player, a problem solver, and a lifelong learner.
- Experience or willingness to learn and support other various technologies such as Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, HPE, Sophos, or Brocade is a plus.

- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
