Senior Network Engineers are key personnel on the program. Key personnel are those personnel whose aggregate technical and professional experience is essential to successfully support the device. Key personnel are fully qualified both managerially and technically, who by virtue of meeting indicated qualifications and rate, can reasonably assume the most intricate and difficult jobs associated with maintaining TS/E in a FOC and managing their assigned workforce.
As key personnel, Senior Network Engineers must have their resumes reviewed and approved by the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and the Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO) for determination of acceptability prior to being allowed to work on the program.
Minimum of 15 years of combined experience in Windows Server Operating Systems, AD administration, and management, Group Policy Objects administration and management through SCCM and ESS, Windows 7 Enterprise and Red Hat Enterprise 6 Linux, VMWare server utilization, SAN administration and management, and VLAN administration and management.
Shall be a Microsoft Certified, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.
Shall have knowledge and experience using operating systems and development environments to include:
Microsoft Windows
Microsoft HyperV Unix/Linux
Solaris
Microsoft Visual Studio C/C++ and C# programming environments
Multi-threaded programming
Modern scripting languages such as JavaScript
Current web-based content including HTML and XML markup
Creation of application plug-ins and hardware interfaces
Shall have knowledge of current LAN technology to include VMWARE, including network architectures, and design of network client and server hardware and software
Shall have knowledge and experience with DoD cybersecurity regulations, advanced file server permissions delegation and rights management, Group Policy implementation, Active Directory management, DoD Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS), Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), and scripting
Supervisory Responsibilities
Network Engineers shall assist lower-level personnel by answering questions, demonstrating techniques, and providing guidance as needed to complete the requirements of the contract/program. Senior Network Engineers are considered key personnel in the program and may be charged with performing contractor communication and coordination as a point of contact with Government personnel to ensure effective performance of the task order purposes and contractual requirements.
Security Responsibilities
Eligible to obtain and maintain (if required) a DoD Personnel Security Clearance. Must obtain and maintain required Security+ certification. Must comply with all company Information Systems security policies and procedures. May be responsible for proper classification and marking of all information and materials. Employee shall not divulge any information or afford access to other employees not having a need-to-know authorization. Shall not divulge information outside the company without management approval. Will be required to execute company non-disclosure agreement prior to access to any controlled information.
Language Skills
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex word and technical documents/diagrams.
Must be able to generate effective oral and written presentations as needed. May be required to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries and complaints.
Reasoning Ability and Mathematical Skills
Must be able to analyze problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. An ability to interpret complex customer requirements and attitudes from verbal, non-verbal, and written communication is desirable. Must be able to calculate figures and numbers, prices, and percentages and be able to draw and interpret graphs. Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and drawings.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

Will be working in areas with a risk of injury from electrical applications, moving mechanical parts, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems under pressure, and electrical motion systems. May be exposed to conditions of extreme heat, airborne particles, and loud noises.
