Network Engineer
We are seeking a Mid to Senior Senior Network Engineer
The ideal candidate would be a self-motivated, highly organized individual passionate about technology.

Responsibilities:Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls and VPNs, to protect data and infrastructure.
Manage the full lifecycle of network infrastructure projects from initial design through implementation, testing, and support.
Provide technical support and guidance on network configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
Document network designs, configurations, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and operational efficiency
Install, configure, and deploy network hardware and software components, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
Conduct initial testing and validation of network connectivity and functionality.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, changes, and incidents.
Provide Technical support to end-users, clients, and internal teams
Respond to network outages, emergencies, and incidents to minimize downtime and restore service quickly.
Pursue relevant certifications and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Maintain network infrastructure and monitoring, including maintenance of component inventory, subscriptions, licensing, lifecycle management, and relation documentation, including physical layouts and logical data flow diagrams.
Qualifications:Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience with network engineering
Strong understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IPv4/IPv6, BPP, IS-IS, OSPF, MPLS, routing, switching, and subnetting
Have in-depth knowledge of wireless technologies like Wi-Fi, point-to-point (PtP), and point-to-multipoint (PtMP) systems.
Familiarity with radio frequency (RF) planning, interference mitigation, and antenna design
Experience configuring and optimizing networking equipment, including routers, switches, access points, wireless backhaul devices, microwave links, and micro-pop
Juniper/Mikrotik
Experience with WISP hardware and software solutions
Trango[4] /Cambium
Experience with network monitoring tools to identify and address performance issues
Wireshark/Observium/Solarwinds/Nagios/Powercode Skilled in interpreting data from these tools to proactively manage and optimize network performance
Experience with fiber optic installation, termination, and maintenance
Familiar with internet services (subscriber provisioning, BRAS, DNS, DHCP, NTP)
Operational expertise in Linux production environment
Experience with bash scripting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical customers and internal teams
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Additional Requirements:Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed
Must be available for on-call rotations
Must be willing to travel domestically when needed (mainly for PoP deployments & build-out)
