Job Title: Network infrastructure Architect

Position Location: Raleigh, NC

Your impact:

As the Network Infrastructure Architect, you will support Coastal by designing and implementing network solutions across the enterprise. Your work will ensure our networks and related systems are designed to meet security, performance, and cost goals.

As a key contributor to the Coastal team, your responsibilities will be:

• Recommending and leading all phases of network architectural activities including concept definition, requirements analysis, design, development, integration, installation, operations, maintenance, and decommissioning. Enablement of scalable, secure, and efficient architectures, including LAN, WAN, voice, data center and cloud networks (55%)

• Quantifying and modeling network design changes and/or upgrades for Coastal to establish metrics to evaluate network utilization vs. cost and recommending changes accordingly (15%)

• Providing advanced technical support for network issues, including diagnosing problems and coordinating with IT teams, vendors, and service providers to resolve issues (15%)

• Creating and maintaining network documentation, including designing diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures (15%)

Experience:

• Five years' experience with the implementation, operation, and support of networking, and security-based technologies
• Campus, data center, and Cisco voice solutions
• Experience in vetting and implementing SD-WAN and SSE architectures

Education:

• Computer science related bachelor's degree or additional five years of related experience in lieu of degree
• Two of the following certifications: CCNP, CCDE, F5-CTS, CCVP, CompTIA Network+, or ISSEP/CISSP
