Network Manager - Zachary Piper LLC

Zachary Piper is seeking a Network Manager to support a Network Operations Center located in Washington, DC. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned network guru to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of network systems to support data, voice, and audio communications. The opportunity would be Hybrid with 3-4 days onsite to support network operations with customers contacts.

Responsibilities of Network Manager:

·      Manage a team of network analysts, network engineers, NOC Analysts, & security Engineers

·      Oversee testing and validation network systems to ensure reliability and performance

·      Conduct network architecture design, feasibility studies, cost assessments, internal performance, and traffic analysis

·      Direct the analysis of short and long term capacity needs for switching, routing , transmission, and signaling

·      Maintain up to date knowledge of network and computer hardware/software interconnections, including routers, switches, firewalls, hubs, bridges, and gateways

Qualifications of Network Manager:

·      7+ years of experience in network management with managing sites & large end-user bases

·      Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field

·      Must have ITIL v3 Practitioner certification; ability to obtain ITIL 4 Managing Professional within the first 6 months

·      Experience with Zero Trust Networks & Security Principles

·      Must have US Citizenship or be Clearable

Compensation of Network Manager:

·      Salary Range: $120,000-$130,000
