Job DescriptionAs a valued colleague on our team, you will design and develop routine solutions for information technology (IT) infrastructure environments, including coding, testing, and certifying technology platforms, software, and applications under direct supervision.

The Cloud Infrastructure - Technology Engineering - Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:
- Develop routine solutions for application design and IT infrastructure components under the guidance of more experienced team members.
- Support mission critical infrastructure, ensuring maxiumum availability and limited downtime.
- Understand the end-to-end performance of fundamental IT platforms.
- Draft and maintain policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
- Gather and report on the performance and capacity metrics for technology solutions.
Qualifications
THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Desired Experiences
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience supporting Cloud infrastructure components under the guidance of more experienced team members.
- Experience supporting automation and IAC specifically, Terraform.
- Experience in the cloud networking space, e.g. core routing and switching.
- Experience responding to incidents and mitigating infrastructure errors.
- Draft and maintain policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
- Gather and report on the performance and capacity metrics for technology solutions.
- Communicate with stakeholders to investigate issues
- On call engagement as needed for production impacting incidents
- Planned change implementation support as needed
- Engagement with engineering team members to collaborate on solutions and escalate issues.
- Knowledge of routing protocols
- Understanding of Data center infrastructure, cabling and environmental requirements.
- Working knowledge of Jira, ServiceNow or similar work management tools.
- Understanding of automation and ability to create rudimentary automation in network space.

- Skilled in cloud technologies and cloud computing

- Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions
- Skilled in establishing and maintaining consistency of a product's performance, functional, and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information
- Determining causes of operating errors and taking corrective action
- Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal
- The group of skills related to Operational Excellence including improving and overseeing operations
- The group of skills related to Relationship Management including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship networks, contracting, etc.
