Position Type: Contract
- Network security experience or certifications.
- Hands-on experience with physical and virtual (Windows on Hyper-V) server installation & configuration and base networking operations (network switches configuration, VLANs setup).
- Experience with EMC SAN VNX and PowerStore SAN configuration, creating and monitoring LUNs configuring iSCSI initiators for Hyper-V Cluster, Veeam Backup, Azure replication and immutable storage.
- Experience working with modern infrastructure technologies in particular Microsoft Azure
Essential Skills:
- Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related area.
- Comprehensive understanding of computer infrastructure hardware, application and services (servers, storages, virtualization, networking, Windows Operating systems, and Active Directory).
- Ability to excel in a dynamic environment with concurrent priorities.
- Hands-on problem solver.
- Eagerness to learn
- Maintain and operate on-premise and cloud IT infrastructure components and services (day to day operations).
- Monitor IT infrastructure and computer networks for errors, malfunctions and security violations.
- Provide deployment and operations support for network infrastructure (WAN, LAN, Remote Access, VPN, and Firewall).
- Administer endpoint and network security infrastructure (e.g., IPS/IDS, vulnerability assessment services, malware prevention, and penetration testing).
- Collaborate with and manage third-party IT Help Desk operations.
- Work closely with vendor partners for advanced / escalated troubleshooting.
- Maintain and enhance disaster recovery plans to protect Apollos IT assets.
- Follow established change management policies and process. Author and maintain standard operating procedures and work instructions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
