The ideal candidate will have at least 12 years of experience in the implementation, secure configuration, operations and maintenance of physical, virtual and cloud networks. Experience must include extensive hands on experience with configuring Cisco enterprise network grade routers, switches, Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) routers, firewalls, proxies and network load balancers.
A well-qualified candidate will have demonstrable experience in security engineering and operations in support of a security operations center, and specific experience in analyzing network configuration security compliance using products like RedSeal, Tripwire, SolarWinds or similar products.

Required Skills:
- This role will report directly to the Security Engineering lead and be responsible for the following:
- Be the subject matter expert in the environment's network implementation & security controls
- Implement secure network configuration monitoring tools across an enterprise network
- Design and implement a secure network configuration management program
- Analyze enterprise network configurations and instruct vulnerability management teams on remediation best practices
- Report secure network configuration metrics and establish benchmark guidelines against which to measure the enterprise
- Engage with and advise management and senior management on secure configuration best practices
- Lead the collaboration with network and infrastructure teams to mitigate vulnerabilities
- At least a Master's Degree or Bachelor's preferred in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or an associated field.
- CCNP (Security preferred)
- CCNA (Security preferred)
- GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED)
- GIAC Defensible Security Architect (GDSA)
- GIAC Perimeter Protection Analyst (GPPA or GCFW)
