The incumbent installs, modifies and maintains a variety of computer hardware, software and peripheral components; diagnoses and resolves end-user network problems, and performs routine backup and restoration of network computing activities while adhering to security protocols and policies. The work is performed under the supervision of a higher level administrator with leeway allowed for the exercise of independent judgment in carrying out details of the work. If the degree was awarded by an educational institution outside of the United States and its territories, applicant must provide independent verification of equivalency.
