We are currently seeking Full Time Tier I/II Network Voice/Field Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience.
As a Level I/II Network Voice / Field Engineer, you will be part of a field team dedicated to resolving customer issues in a prompt, professional and friendly manner while focusing on positive customer experiences.

As a Level I/II Network Voice / Field Engineer, you will be part of a field team dedicated to resolving customer issues in a prompt, professional and friendly manner while focusing on positive customer experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Provide phone, remote and onsite support and remediation for network device issues
- Troubleshooting and resolving customer system problems across a broad range of technologies; Network devices, all peripheral devices, application and enterprise system support; computer hardware and software issues
- Telephony/VOIP experience
- Provide remote and onsite installations of new software and upgrades
- Provide remote and onsite installation of service Packs and security updates
- Provide help desk support including analyzing and resolving end-user issues
- Routing protocols EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP; configuring, troubleshooting, typical show commands to research issues
- Racking and stacking Cisco 2900, 3700, 3600, 3800, 4500, 6500 series switches
- Upgrading firmware on Cisco switches
- Tools for upgrading firmware on Cisco switches; TFTP and FTP server, thumb drive
- Configuration of Cisco switches in command line via console and SSH
- Working knowledge of power distribution units (PDU); Tripp-Lite, Raritan Power, APC; and power cord types; twist-lock L6-20, L6-30, C12, C13, C14
- Working knowledge of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) units; Schneider Electric, Emerson Power, APC; replacing batteries, connecting units to the network, power input and output types; L6-20, L6-30
- Working knowledge of networked console servers; Tripp-Lite, Avocent
- Working knowledge DNS and DHCP; What is a host record, reverse look-up zone, CNAME. What is a static IP address
- 3 years' experience in network engineering
- Bachelor's degree
- CCNA, A and Network certification is strongly recommended
- Project Management, Problem Solving
- Understanding of Data Center environment
- LAN Knowledge, Proxy Servers, Networking Knowledge, Network Design and Implementation, Network Troubleshooting, Network Hardware Configuration, Network Performance Tuning
- Understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS.)
- Cisco Routers, Cisco Switches, Cisco IOS, OSPF, Layer 2, Layer 3, advanced IP Addressing, IPSec VPN, Configuration of secure routing solutions, WLAN, LAN and WAN
- Experience deploying and troubleshooting NAC for wired and wireless access preferred
- Maintenance of Infoblox's DNS, DHCP, and IP address management (DDI) a Plus
- Ability to troubleshoot jack activations, connection issues is a must
- Must be able to use troubleshooting applications as fiber checkers, cable checking applications, slow response issues
