Networking Administrator - SVMT Inc

Position Overview:
This role provides comprehensive Information Technology support across the organization and reports directly to the Software Development Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Model, plan, and troubleshoot Cisco networks.
• Assist users with hardware, software, and telephone issues.
• Maintain and administer FortiGate Firewalls.
• Ensure network security.
• Manage cloud networks, particularly with Microsoft Azure.
• Install and support local area networks (LAN) and internet systems.
• Administer server software applications.
• Manage Webex Telephone systems.
• Administer Cisco UCS data center.
• Oversee VMWare virtual servers.
• Administer Datto backups.
• Complete administrative tasks, duties, and reports promptly.
• Perform other duties as required by the business.
• Maintain employee confidentiality.
• Adhere to all company policies and safety, food safety, feed safety, and sanitation rules and programs.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-year AS degree in IT Administration, Network Administration, or a related field; BS degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively both in teams and independently.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Experience with Cisco networks (CCNA certification), Cisco telephone systems, and VMWare is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to work cohesively with all employees.
