Neurodiagnostic Technologist I - Atlantic Health System

Atlantic Health System, is seeking a Full-Time Neurodiagnostic Technologist for the Neurodiagnostics Departments at Overlook Medical Center and Morristown Medical Center.  We are hoping technologists could be flexible amongst locations; however we are looking for technologists for each region. Hours available could be day, evening and overnight given the hospital’s staffing needs; including weekends.

Essential Function/Responsibilities:

• As a Neurodiagnostic Technologist, studies performed will encompass: routine/sleep deprived EEGs, long-term monitoring including Video EEGs/Ambulatory EEGs, invasive monitoring with intracranial grids/strips.
• Will work with a wide variety of hospital environments and patient types including: neonate through adult patient populations, Neuro ICU, Neonatal ICU, Pediatric ICU and Behavioral Health environments.
• Employees must be able to work independently as well as in a team setting.
• Responsible for both live and intermittent monitoring of VEEG patients.
• Must be competent in seizure pattern recognition for all patient populations.
• Must be skilled in their ability to provide a technologist's impression of their studies and be able to relay pertinent information to their partnering physicians. 

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Associates Degree with completion of an END program required/bachelor's degree preferred.
• To provide a safe environment to our patients, we require that all candidates must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Candidate must have completed a clinical Neurodiagnostic internship.
• EEG registration required.

Relevant Experience:

• Minimum of 1-year clinical experience preferred.
• Must have working experience in a hospital setting.
• Experience with Evoked potentials preferred.

License/Certification (required):

• Graduate/Certificate from an accredited Neurodiagnostic Program.
• Must have R. EEG T. or be able to sit for the ABRET registration exam.
