- JOB SUMMARY
- The Neurodiagnostic Technologist shall provide quality therapeutic and diagnostic treatment to patients under the direction of a physician, provide staff and family education, and participate as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide an optimal continuity of care for our patients. The Neurodiagnostic Technologist delivers quality care, utilizing diagnostic testing for patients with Neurological disorders. This includes providing care for adults and geriatrics based on primary growth and development knowledge.
- JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- Education and/or experience: Single or multiple credentialing by ABRET in Neurodiagnostic testing is preferred. A formal program or on-the-job training is acceptable. Previous experience is preferred.
- Knowledge: Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology and familiarity with medical terminology.
- Skills / Abilities: The candidate must be able to interact with patients and staff in a professional manner, evaluate and treat patients with neurological dysfunction, and communicate well verbally and in writing. The candidate must also be able to make logical decisions in a patient care situation.
