Neurologist - subspecialty work - Mankato Clinic

Mankato Clinic has a high demand for a Fellowship trained general Neurologist. Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. and your office schedule will consist of approximately 16 patients per day, ages 16 - 100.

Mankato Clinic has a strong care team of 86 physicians and 109 Advanced Practice Providers as a referral base for your practice. You will also get referrals from all around southern MN and northern Iowa.

Your practice will be a mixture of a full range of diseases including:

• Alzheimer’s disease
• Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)
• Aneurysms
• Benign essential tremor
• Cerebral Palsy
• Ataxia disorders
• Epilepsy
• Migraines
• Multiple Sclerosis
• Parkinson’s disease
• Radicular/Neuropathic pain
• Seizures
• Sleep disorders
  • Excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS)
  • Insomnia
  • Narcolepsy
  • Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA)
  • Periodic limb movement of sleep (PLMS)
  • Restless leg syndrome (RLS)
• Spinal Cord Injury
• Strokes
• Syncope
• Traumatic Brain Injury
• Vertigo/dizziness

Office procedures and testing capabilities include:

• Neurology – Botox, EEG, and EMG
• Sleep Center - In-lab studies, at-home studies, and actigraphy
• Diagnostic Imaging – spinal taps, CT, and Nuclear Medicine tests

Call will be 1:3 with the addition of a new Neurologist, rotated evenly. Call consists of approximately 2 phone calls a month after hours, without going into the office, covering patient phone calls and prescriptions.

Full-time is 32 Patient Contact Hours weekly with 4 hours of administrative time, and a four-day workweek option is available. We offer 35 vacation days annually and our Clinics are closed on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Days. Mankato Clinic also features a generous health benefits plan, $6,600 CME allowance annually, and profit-sharing 401(k). Partnership is offered after one year of employment with minimal buy-in. Signing/retention bonus and relocation allowance are available.
