Tidelands Health System is recruiting a third neurosurgeon to our team at Tidelands Health as we enhance and grow our spine and cranial programs. Our current surgeons do spine and cranial work, Our population growth shows a need to grow our cranial services. The location is in Murrells Inlet, SC just south of Myrtle Beach at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital. The surgeon also has an NP working with him directly. We have collaboration with MUSC Health in Charleston for our tertiary services and for collegial and clinical support. We have a new cranial navigation system as part of our growth. Tidelands Health system has four hospitals with 340 beds total and is locally owned, non-profit and independent - and thriving. We service an area of over 420,000 in population - in one of the fastest growing areas of the country per the US Census Bureau.
