As a New Construction Project Manager at Timbertop Builders, you will be at the heart of our construction operations. You will oversee all day-to-day activities on-site, ensuring that every aspect of the construction process is executed with precision, on time, and within budget. You will be the primary point of contact for subcontractors, suppliers, and clients, ensuring seamless communication and a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily construction operations, including scheduling subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Conduct daily walkthroughs to ensure that all work meets Timbertop Builders' high standards for quality and safety.
- Schedule and manage all required inspections, ensuring that any follow-up work is completed promptly and to the satisfaction of all parties.
- Perform field measurement work to ensure accuracy in building standards and material supplies.
- Lead homebuyer meetings and walkthroughs, providing exceptional service and clear communication at all stages of construction.
- Use construction management software to track activities and manage the overall construction process effectively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, setting clear expectations and ensuring open communication.
- Work closely with the Sales Consultant to ensure that homes are built to contract specifications and that any issues are addressed swiftly.
- Assist in the coordination and completion of all on-site development work, including utilities, common areas, and road construction.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential construction, with at least 2 years of site development work preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent is preferred.
- Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other construction-related software.
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to use a personal vehicle for business purposes.
- Ability to successfully pass a drug screening and background check.
