We seek an experienced and highly skilled New Construction Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and a proven track record of successfully overseeing new construction projects
The primary responsibility of the superintendent is to provide support to the field operations team in the execution of their duties.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of new construction projects, including scheduling, quality control, and safety
- Coordinate with vendors and other project stakeholders to ensure timely completion of the project
- Create and maintain project schedules, tracking progress and identifying potential delays
- Monitor and enforce adherence to project timelines
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work in progress
- Communicate effectively with project team members, providing clear direction and guidance as needed
- Proactively identify and address potential issues or conflicts that may impact project progress
Requirements
- 3+ years' experience as a Residential New Construction Plumber OR experience in leading residential new construction plumbing.
- Ability to read, interpret and understand blueprints and/or plumbing ISO's.
- Have skills in ABS, copper and plastic water supply piping.
- Possess strong soldering and other piping connection skills.
- Understand building codes.
- Able to work with truck stocking, packing slips and other types of inventory control.

- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to oversee and coordinate a variety of people in different roles.
- Extremely detail-oriented.
- Thorough understanding of legal requirements relating to construction and building sites.
- Thorough understanding of quality building practices.
- Ability to quickly identify problems and efficiently solve them.
