NEW GRADUATE NURSE RESIDENCY INTERNSHIP (RN - NEW GRAD) - Versa Recruiting, LLC

The New Grad RN Residency Program for new graduates is a paid internship program for new graduates with less than six months experience to receive hands-on acute care nursing experience in 10-16 months.

RELOCATION OFFERED: $5k 50mi+

SIGN ON OFFERED:

• Med-Surg/PCU - $12,500K Quarterly
• ER/Behavioral Health - $10K Quarterly
• All other (Womens, Peds, ICU, Rehab, OR) $5k

The Residency Program provides you with the tools necessary to succeed in today's hospital environment. This paid program will assist you with the transition out of the classroom setting through a formalized series of learning experiences, including:

What will you do in this role:

• Shadow and work with a trained mentor for roles in the Registered Nurse role.
• Attend regular meetings between resident, trainer, and/or their Director
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s). Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Perform the administration of prescribed medications. Monitor patient for therapeutic response. Notify provider and intervene as appropriate in the event of an unintended response to medication.
• Perform exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests. Strive to anticipate patient needs and resolve them proactively.

What qualifications you will need:

• Current TN or KY RN license or Multi-state Compact RN license (or ability to obtain)
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, within past 1 year
• ADN Required, BSN preferred
• Current, BLS (Basic Life Support) AHA (Required)
• Current, Valid State license as a Registered Nurse (Required)
• Self-motivated and strong communication skills required
