As an NPI Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development of innovative space products. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the successful transition of hardware designs from concept to production, allowing our design team to focus on innovation.

The day-to-day:
- Support prototype hardware planning and build activity.
- Interact with product development teams on all things hardware in support of product development schedule.
- Interact with Operational support groups (planning, supply chain, DFM, Mfg Eng, QA, etc.).
- Apply your space-related knowledge and experience providing guidance and recommendations to the team.
- Ensure hardware design supports production readiness.
- 7+ years of engineering experience, with a preference for experience in space application product development.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering).
- Proven background in electronics manufacturing engineering, specifically related to printed circuit board assembly (PCBA).
- Hands-on experience in the fabrication and assembly of space hardware components.
- Demonstrated ability to develop clear and concise space hardware assembly instructions.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant space regulations, IPC specifications, prohibited materials, and other industry standards.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and a strong focus on risk mitigation.
- Consistent track record in an NPI engineering role, specifically supporting the development, fabrication, assembly, and production planning of space electronics and hardware.
- Demonstrated experience working within Agile frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, to effectively lead NPI projects and deliver results.
