- 3+ years of experience as a general manager at a hotel
- Previous Marriott experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to work weekends, including Sundays, during the last stretch before opening
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOTEL GENERAL MANAGER-ONCE THE HOTEL OPENS
You should expect to be on-site during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, though there is some flexibility.
In this hotel management role, you get to tackle a wide range of tasks, including managing staffing, forecasting, payroll and budgets just to name a few. You will also be using our tools to help control expenses, process invoices and be accountable to all financial aspects of the hotel. This job will require you do all that while assisting with sales and revenue, and providing top-notch hospitality to every single guest. You warmly and efficiently welcome guests and make them feel right at home from the moment they walk in the door.
