Courtesy Nissan of Richardson is actively seeking an experienced, self-motivated, and professional Sales/Desk Manager to assist us in advancing our sales force to keep up with increasing demands. An exceptional Sales Manager assists the sales and finance personnel in achieving their personal income goals by being proactive and checking in after each transaction and by promoting strategies to sell vehicles throughout the month. This individual is truly responsible for managing the daily operations of the dealership's sales desk.

Work functions include but not limited to:
- The Sales Manager leverages their salespeople to ensure customers make the right purchase for both the customer and the dealership. The type of purchase that will guarantee the dealership remains profitable, but also enhances the brand of the dealership through the experience of the transaction, and simultaneously enhances the skills and confidence of the salesperson involved.
- Hires, coaches, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of all sales representatives. The Sales Manager demonstrates leadership by creating a clear vision and establishing annual and monthly objectives for unit sales, gross profits, expenses, and operating profits.
- Works directly with customers to establish a strong network of clientele and prospects. The Sales Manager examines business metrics to address shortfalls and implement action plans to enhance performance and ensure that customers understand their vehicle purchase options and pricing.
- Reviews market analyses and sales reports to determine the customer's needs, volume, and potential, and assists with the development of sales campaigns to accommodate the objectives of the dealership.
- Maintains controllable expenses for the New and Used Vehicle departments.
- The Sales Manager investigates business metrics to address shortfalls and implement action plans to enhance performance and ensures that customers understand their vehicle purchase options and pricing.

Employee Prerequisites:
- Advanced automotive sales management knowledge.
- Must have 3-5 years of experience. Pay is based on expertise.
- Excellent of verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of automotive software is a bonus.
- Maintains well-groomed and professional appearance.
- Onboarding process completed within days of applying!
