About The Position

BPN Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a NICU RN to fulfill a 13-week contract at a facility in the La Jolla, CA area and Murietta, CA.
RN is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment planning implementation and evaluation. RN also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment. Provides for safe environment for patients and visitors. Utilizes the chain of command when necessary to ensure patient well-being and appropriateness of care from post delivery stabilization through discharge. RN needs experience in Nursery Mother baby couplet care taking care of a baby in transition possible catch a baby
Contract Details:
- 13 weeks
- Shift: Rotating 3x12 or Night 3x12
- Weekly pay
- Travel stipend
- Float required
Required Certifications:
- CA RN license
- BLS (AHA)
- NRP (AHA)
Required Experience & Skills:
- 3 years of NICU Level 3 or higher
- Epic experience
- Travel experience, 3 years preferred
- Skills: incubators, warmers, vents (no chronic vents), Philips monitors
**Flu Vaccination required!
