Comcast Spectacor oversees the Wells Fargo Center and its major transformation project, the Philadelphia Flyers, the Philadelphia Wings lacrosse team, the Maine Mariners hockey team, the Flyers Training Center, the Seoul Infernos OWL team, and Spectacor Events and Entertainment, a growing live events business that has already brought successful, new events to the Philadelphia area. Comcast Spectacor is headquartered at the Wells Fargo Center (WFC) in Philadelphia, PA. The WFC, the 4th most highly attended arena nationally and 7th most attended in the world is home to 270+ events per year, including the Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia 76ers, Philadelphia Wings, Villanova, concerts, and events. Comcast Spectacor is a wholly owned subsidiary of Comcast and maintains connected and disconnected networks within the Wells Fargo Center.

Job Summary

Provides subject matter guidance to employees as required. Develops processes and procedures to drive department efficiencies. Assists in development and meeting of departmental budget.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

• Ensure building is maintained and in excellent working order.
• Manage PT (part-time) staff and ensure work tasks are completed during a shift.
• Assist other manager/managers with assigned duties.
• Ensure dressing room maintenance after each use.
• Ensure maintenance of interior and exterior of facility.
• Work within the framework of an annual expense budget.
• Create and implement building maintenance training programs for staff.
• Serve as manager-on-duty when general manager is not in the building.
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
• Must be available evenings and weekend evenings, after 4pm until close.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
