Job Description:

13 weeks assignment, 2 years experience current required in an 18 plus bed telemetry/progressive care unit required. Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.

CERTIFICATIONS: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required. BLS and ACLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or client. EPIC EMR experience preferred. Traveler must provide or pass a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia/Dysrhythmia Assessment (BCA) exam prior to or during first week of assignment. Travelers that do not pass the BCA test will be dismissed.

SHIFTS: 12 hour Day shift position - starttime 0700 - 4 Weekend shifts in a 4 week scheduling period -Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On call, weekends and holidays may be required. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locationswithin 20 miles of permanent assigned location and to all areas in which theyare trained, including the ED and alternate holding areas to care forappropriate patients, including PresNow ED/UC (freestanding urgent/emergentcare facilities)

ORIENTATION: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40total hours, and includes EPIC training.

SCRUBS: For RNs ONLY (does not apply to OR as those are provided) RNs may wear ANY solid color. The scrub top, pant, and jacket (if worn) must be the same solid color to match.

State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice. The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico. 4. ENSURE AN ACCURATE SS# and DOB IS ENTERED. IF NOT, TRAVELER MAY BE PUSHED/AGENCY SUSPENED (creates I.T. onboarding issues).
