Job Title: NOC Specialist
Location: Plano, TX
Pay Range: $40 - $45 per hour
What’s the Job?
- Conduct Problem Management activities, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA), to proactively address network issues.
- Execute Change Management procedures, both standard and emergency, to maintain network integrity and performance.
- Provide expert Network Operational Support, adhering to Ericsson guidelines, to ensure optimal functioning of Core & RAN components.
- Monitor product and service performance, swiftly identifying and resolving operational challenges to minimize downtime.
- Offer 24x7 support in a fast-paced control center environment, ensuring uninterrupted network services.
- Manage network trouble tickets from inception to resolution, coordinating with fix agents to swiftly resolve issues.
- Utilize strong communication skills to manage email notifications and incoming calls, ensuring effective communication during network events.
- Maintain event status boards and network event boards, keeping stakeholders informed of network performance.
What’s Needed?
- 3-5 years of telecommunications network experience.
- Familiarity with call center and operational center requirements.
- Strong understanding of telecommunications network topology and elements.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and procedures is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
- Availability to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications.
