The NOC Supervisor's main focus is the direct management and operation of the 24X7X365 Network Operations Center.
As a Supervisor reporting directly to the Operations Officer effective management and communication skills are required. Complete accountability of NOC operations including manning, resource allocation and performance are
essential. Must provide and maintain the necessary staffing and critical training with multiple levels of support and succession plans in all areas. Must also promote an in-house, highly positive/efficient work environment and handle all
personnel matters with the highest level of discretion and professionalism.



Core Responsibilities (Not Limited To)
NOC personnel management
Scheduling and On-Call/escalations
Staff Emergency Notifications
Organization wide SLA performance



General Manager Responsibilities (Not Limited To)
Develop Group level documentation and training programs



Education/Experience

• 2/4 year degree in related field preferred, Directly related job experience or technical certifications may be substituted
• 5 to 10 years of NOC management experience preferred
• 5 to 10 years Helpdesk/NOC experience in a in a critical 7X24X365 technology environment is highly preferred

Working Conditions/Environment

Strong experience in computer management, Nagios, LINUX, NFS, and network engineering

Proficiency in routing protocols, LAN, Meraki, & Java

Incumbent will be required to perform physical activity as needed and/or lift boxes, hardware, equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
