Nocturnal Hospitalist ~ Non-profit Healthcare ~ 5 Star CMS ~ Coastal FL! - AdventHealth Medical Group East Florida Division

AdventHealth Medical Group is looking for a dynamic and quality-focused nocturnist to join our growing team of hospitalists at our highly rated, 364 bed Hospital in Daytona Beach, FL.!

We are seeking a physician who will model and lead excellence in clinical practice, doctor-patient relationships, and professionalism while maintaining AdventHealth’s Mission, Vision, Values.

The AdventHealth Daytona Beach team consists of (20) day physicians, (4) nocturnists, and (2) APP’s. Our hospitalists work in teams rotating on a 7 on /7 off schedule. Our shifts run from (7a-7p) and (7p-7a) - 182 shifts per year.

Collectively, the AdventHealth Medical Group Hospitalists cover 5 hospitals in Volusia and Lake counties, allowing opportunities for collegial cross-coverage and additional shift pick-ups with generous compensation at campuses other than the primary campus.

Requirements of the position include

• Board Certification / Eligibility through ABIM or ABFM
•  Team player with a patient-first mindset
•  Excellent communication skills
•  Active Florida license (or ability to secure active, unrestricted licensure)
•  DEA License required or ability to obtain 
•  Ability to collaborate closely with consultants and support staff

Practice Overview

The practice is a part of AdventHealth Medical Group. Our hospitalist team is a substantial percentage of our Medical Group, currently with over 80 providers. AHMG is a sister organization of AdventHealth which employs 350+ physicians in 27 individual service lines. This aligned model and practice management experience provides the opportunity for physicians to focus on the clinical aspects of medicine.
