About the Job
Overview:
Generate revenue by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities as well as maintaining and building relationships with current customers.
Responsibilities:- Grow the Noke Smart Entry business with self-storage owners, operators, developers and other decision makers in the Southwest territory.
- Meet or exceed territory budget by generating business for new customers as well as securing repeat business with existing customer base.
- Make telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers in their territory.
- Schedule and perform product demonstrations with potential customers via in person meetings, virtual demos, and at industry events and trade shows.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers.
- Attend industry trade shows to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful contact with existing customers.
- Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales.
- Submit, present, and follow up on written proposal/quotations.
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and concerns.
- Coordinate sales efforts with estimating, sales management, accounting, and logistics teams.
- Identify advantages and compare the organization’s products/services.
- Generate and submit sales reports to management as needed.
- Supply management with oral and written updates on customer contacts, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma required. A college degree in business is preferred.
- Three to five years of previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience.
- History of success meeting or exceeding sales budgets strongly preferred
- Overnight travel required up to 50%. Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Basic computer skills required; Outlook email, Word, Excel.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally on the telephone and in person.
