Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Location(s): San Luis Obispo, CA
Responsibilities:

Patient Coordination: Schedule and confirm patient appointments, manage patient check-ins, and address inquiries to ensure a smooth experience.

Documentation Management: Maintain and organize electronic and paper patient files, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards.

Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for patients, medical staff, and external vendors; manage phone calls and emails with professionalism.

Office Support: Assist with daily office operations, including filing, data entry, and inventory management of medical supplies.

Billing Support: Prepare and process billing information, assist with insurance claims, and follow up on outstanding payments.

Meeting Coordination: Organize team meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes to ensure effective communication among staff.

Technology Utilization: Utilize EPIC and other healthcare software systems for patient management, scheduling, and reporting.

Compliance: Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations and organizational policies regarding patient confidentiality, safety, and quality of care.

Local Knowledge: Be familiar with local healthcare resources and services to provide accurate information to patients and staff.
Shift:

Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00); Tuesday - Friday, 12pm-9pm and Saturday 830-530
Required Experience:
-
2-3 years Admin Asst experience within the medical field

EPIC experience - Preferred
