Position Summary
Baylor Scott and White health in Central Texas is seeking BE/BC diagnostic radiologists to join a well-established team to further expand and provide depth of imaging services.
About the radiology department in Central TX:
· Full complement of subspecialists who perform cutting edge radiological services
· Team approach to the practice of medicine as part of a large multispecialty group practice
· State-of-the-art imaging equipment
· Internal 24-hour coverage for imaging services
· Level 1 trauma center
· One of the largest multispecialty tertiary referral centers in the United States
Practice Overview:
Baylor Scott and White Health is an integrated health system comprised of a multispecialty group practice employing more than 1400 physicians and research scientists, 14 hospitals and 55 clinics covering 25,000 square miles across Central Texas.
Founded in 1897, the Scott & White Clinic continues to expand its multispecialty group practice brand of medicine throughout Texas. The Scott & White Clinic is a component of Baylor Scott & White Healthcare which is the largest non-profit healthcare system in Texas.
About the radiology practice:
· 80 employed radiologists covering all subspecialties
· One of the oldest, continuous acting radiology departments in the nation-S&W radiology founded in 1912
· Stable employment, no contractual relationship with hospitals, no ties to private equity employers

Teaching opportunities are available through our diagnostic radiology residency program in Temple, TX established in 1945. Academic appointments are available with the Texas A&M College of Medicine and/or Baylor College of Medicine. Position duties and responsibilities
Diagnostic Radiology-fellowship expertise in either abdominal, cardiac, musculoskeletal imaging, neuroradiology or emergency
Desired professional skills and experience
+ Board certification or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology
+ Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
