Non IT Business Analyst
Location: Pratt Street, Baltimore MD
Duration: 1.5 year project
Rate: DOE
Interview: 2 Video interviews (45 minutes each)

About the Project:
Project - build a new tool and migrate/convert data from core legacy data put in Excel – cleanse in Excel and then move to the new tool.
Asset Management, Financial services experience needed.
The people in this role will be responsible for building out a new ARM capability (specifically converting old data into a new database, managing the workflow tool that will help with database processes, integrating data for converting testing).
-This person will be providing leverage and testing for the Global Client Operations team, cleaning up data, helping with business rules, and working with the other 13 other business groups within the firm.
*This is not a PM role—this is a true BA role.
Candidates will need to need to demonstrate high-level problem-solving skills, cross-team communication analysis (business and workflow), and solving technical defects.*
-This position will be remote, but will sit at Pratt Street once we are 100% back on site. This schedule will be 8:00 A.M.-5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.
-The initial duration of the assignment is 3 months, but as of right now, this project is scheduled to be through the end of the year. With the complexity of the project, the HM anticipates the project to be a year and a half.
Job Description: Summary:
The main function of a Non-IT Business Analyst is to maintain vendor relationships, acting as a business analyst for non-IT projects or filling organizational roles above an administrative level, but below a management level. Other responsibilities may include maintaining all project management processes, including project goals, deadlines, metrics and budget. The Non-IT Business Analyst usually reports to a project manager or director.
Job Responsibilities:
• Review and approve contracts, cost proposals and contract supplements.
• Approve project and work breakdown structures.
• Review and approve the documentation of business processes.
• Approve project budgets and expenditures, monitor transaction controls and costs against budgets.
• Predict potential budget overruns and offer solutions.
• Consult with corporate offices, project managers, auditors, and client and sub-consultant representatives regarding future proposals.
• Prepare sub-agreements and review and input sub-consultant invoices to ensure contact compliance.
Skills:
• Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time.
• Strong knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
• Strong ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
• Strong ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
• Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel; Enterprise Application experience a plus.
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting or relevant field required.
• 8-10 years' experience required.
