Main Responsibilities of Non Profit Accountant:
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts
- Prepare account reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, bank, and credit card reconciliations
- Analyze financial data to prepare accurate reports
- Maintain documentation of costing and reconciliation processes
- Assist the Controller in a variety projects as they arise
Qualifications of the Non Profit Accountant
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Current or prior Non Profit Industry experience is required
- Must be detail-oriented, well organized, and proficient in excel (pivot tables/lookups)
