This well respected, central Houston CPA firm client is seeking to add an audit senior to their already strong team of auditors. This firm audits a variety of for profit, financial services and non profit entities. This company boasts a large variety in work and offers many opportunities for advancement. At the same time, this firm is financially strong and able to provide an unusually good work/life balance, which is uncommon in the public accounting world.
These auditors will perform audit work for a number of financially strong non profit clients in Houston. This firm has solid, sustained growth, and has a wide variety of clients. Most of their audit clients are headquartered in Houston, so auditors do not have much, if any out of town travel. They do prefer a CPA or someone eligible to pursue certification.
REQUIREMENTS:
The firm prefers someone out of a public accounting firm.
This firm will relocate candidates not from Houston.
4 year accounting degree required, Masters preferred.
2+ years audit experience in public or industry.
Great personality and ability to interact with clients.
Motivated, down to earth people work best in this environment, who want to work hard during the day and go home in the evenings.
