Northern California PA Opportunity in Neurosurgery - Sutter Health Greater Central Valley

Gould Medical Group, in partnership with Sutter Health, is looking for a board-certified Physician Assistant for our Neurosurgery Department in Modesto, CA.

Sutter Health-affiliated Gould Medical Group is a growing, approximately 400 provider multi-specialty group located about two hours east of San Francisco, California. Our communities offer quick access to the bay area as well as other hot spots such as Napa Valley, Yosemite, and Lake Tahoe.

Position Details:

• Starting base salary: $160,000
• Neurosurgical Physician Assistant
• Support and supervision provided by our two Neurosurgeons
• Join two Neurosurgeons and two Physician Assistants
• Neurosurgeons specialize in general, spine, brain, and endovascular neurosurgery
• Experience preferred but not required
• Inpatient duties
  • Assist in the OR
  • Rounding and note-taking
  • Hospital floor and ICU
  • Inpatient and emergency room consults
• Outpatient duties
  • Post-op checks
  • Established patient follow-up
  • Average of 10-15 patients per day
• EHR: Epic
• Stable and growing group
