Summary You will serve as a NUCLEAR MECHANICAL INSPECTOR (SHIPS) SUPERVISOR I in the Nuclear Inspection Division (Code 139 - Training Branch) at PSNS and IMF. Responsibilities You will supervise FWS inspection programs with direct responsibility for supervising inspectors of mechanical, piping and structural systems on nuclear reactor plant systems to accomplish the inspection function. You will ensure the quality of work with respect to inspections and testing under assigned cognizance. You will be responsible for assuring the efficient and economical accomplishment of work assigned within the parameters established by the projects and the Nuclear Inspection Division management. You will ensure pre-use inspection and verification of markings for reactor plant materials are carried out, ensuring proper material control and marking is maintained on assigned work. You will coordinate priorities and deadlines with numerous project and production personnel to maximize efficient use of personnel while meeting the Shipyard’s needs.
