Job Title: Registered Nurse / Occupational Health & Wellness
Duration: 24 months contract
Location: Spring House, PA

Description:
Senior Occupational Health Nurse, (Sr. OHN)
The Occupational Health Nurse will assist in coordinating a dynamic health and wellness team for Spring House based employees. Working alongside the Multi-Site Lead, Sr. OHN, Senior Coordinator, EAP, EHS&S and Wellness staff, the team will implement the provision of Global Health services including Occupational Medicine and Wellness & Health Promotion programs.
Services are provided under the mentorship and supervision of the GHS Multi-Site Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
Provides clinical healthcare services including: Nursing care for Injuries & illnesses which includes responding to onsite medical emergencies, Case Management of Occupational Injuries and Illness, Medical Surveillance examination and general health education and mentoring.
Responsible for compliance associated with occupational health at the locations they support including, compliance with applicable OSHA regulations and recordkeeping and Pharmaceutical Global Health standards.
Drives increased health outcomes including reducing population health risks, managing and eliminating workplace health risks and supporting improved business outcomes through advancing employee health and wellbeing.
Provides various preventive health evaluations and tests in accordance with Global Health policies and protocols.
Maintains accurate clinical records, applying approved medical, nursing and statistical formats, including use of an Electronic Medical Record.
Maintains and cultivates a safe working environment.
Acquires knowledge of the occupational hazards and treatment for exposures for assigned locations.
Partners with other members of the Global Health team as well as Human Resources, Safety and management partners to encourage an integrated team approach to solving problems.
Participates in the development of Site Business plans supporting key Global Health initiatives.
Participates in the Employee Development Program process. Attends continuing education programs.
On occasion support off-site and off-shift programs.
Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse license for the state of Pennsylvania required.
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN or COHN-S) preferred.
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a professional nurse is required. A minimum of 2 years of Occupational Health Nursing is required.
Current CPR/AED certification is required.
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Outlook, and Microsoft Excel is required.
Phlebotomy skills required.
Working knowledge of regulatory areas; i.e.; ADA, OSHA, FMLA, Workers' Compensation, STD/LTD is required.
Strong Case Management experience is preferred.
Outstanding leadership skills required; ability to gain trust and influence at all levels; collaborative.
Strong interpersonal and people skills including the ability to motivate, cooperate and work effectively with others, and build partnerships with various departments.
Ability to work optimally in a team-oriented environment.
Ability and willingness to travel to West Chester, PA and Malvern, PA preferred
Up to 10% domestic travel may be required.
Will the worker be primarily working on-site or remotely?:
On-site at a Pharmaceutical location
