The Nurse Director Acute Care Medicine will report to the CNO and be in collaboration with the VP of Nursing. Responsibilities include management of operations of the departments overseeing, performing assignments that are hospital and departmental specific, interacting with executive management in which operational issues and objectives are discussed and decided upon, developing and implementing policies related to agreed upon goals and ensuring all care provided is in keeping with hospital policy and standards. Individuals earning quick interviews will have a background in progressive leadership in the acute care setting and a degree in higher education.
