Overview
Central Illinois’ leading provider of integrated primary and behavioral health care seeks an LPN or RN to care for patients at our Bloomington, IL, facility. Position is full-time (no nights, weekends, or holidays) with some alternating remote on call time. Responsibilities
Help our patients to regain control over their lives through self-directed recovery. Promote the recovery model of treatment including trauma-informed care, hope, respect, empowerment, health/wellness, and spirituality/connectedness. Provide holistic health teaching for patients and their families. Act as a liaison among prescribers, consumers, laboratories, other health care providers, pharmacies, and staff to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
For both LPN and RN applicants, position requires a high school diploma or equivalent; active Illinois nursing license; CPR certification (or become certified within 90 days of hire); basic computer skills including MS Word, Outlook, e-prescribing, and an electronic medical record; and satisfactory completion of a background check. Preferably, applicants will have experience with mental health and substance use treatment. For RN applicants, some knowledge of pharmacology and possible medication side effects is also required.
