Required Skills/Qualifications:

Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current state RN licensure. BSN degree preferred.

Must have and maintain at all times a current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS).

Circulating Operating Room and Post Anesthesia Care Unit experience required.

Supervisory experience in a team leader role.

Familiar with all of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures.

Ability to effectively communicate with all members of staff, both verbal and written.

Good judgment, supervision, listening, creativity, conflict resolution and leadership skills.

Must be able to take initiative and provide critical thinking skills to address clinical issues.

Ability to promote good public relations with patients, family members and caregivers.

Familiar with Athenix products and services, and able to accurately refer patients to the appropriate consultant or staff member.
