The Nurse Manager, Med/Surg Telemetry, will report directly to the Director of Nursing for Medical-Surgical Services. This role involves close collaboration with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care.

The Med/Surg Telemetry Unit is a high-acuity, 30-bed unit dedicated to providing comprehensive care for patients with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. Our team of dedicated professionals is committed to excellence in patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the Med/Surg Telemetry Unit, ensuring efficient and effective patient care delivery.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to nursing staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care quality and safety.
• Manage unit resources, including staffing, budget, and equipment, to optimize operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized patient care plans.
• Conduct performance evaluations and participate in the recruitment and training of nursing staff.
• Monitor patient care activities and outcomes, implementing quality improvement initiatives as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and unit activities.

Requirements:

• RN Degree.
• RN license.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role will earn a quick interview .
• Strong clinical skills and expertise in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing care.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
