This role involves managing the Infusion Center, Lab, Medical Oncology Physician Practice Operations, and serving as a liaison to scheduling, registration, and pharmacy services. You will work in close partnership with the Oncology Service Line Leader, physicians, and associates to create and enforce policies and procedures that ensure effective patient care and efficient service flow, adhering to the Cancer Center's mission and SPIRIT values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the Infusion Center, Lab, and Medical Oncology services.
- Collaborate with the Oncology leadership to enhance patient care and service delivery.
- Ensure alignment with Cancer Center policies and adherence to SPIRIT values.
- Oversee associate management, business operations, patient relations, and facility maintenance.
- Act as a liaison for scheduling, registration, and pharmacy services.
- Work with Oncology Service Line leaders and physician leaders to improve cancer care services.
Skills and Certifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (required), Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration (preferred).
- 5 years of nursing experience, with 2+ years in outpatient oncology operations.
- Experience in departmental management.
- Maryland Registered Nurse License.
- American Heart Association CPR Certification.
- OCN certification required upon eligibility for the exam.
Candidate Details:
Candidates should have 5+ years of experience, including at least 2 years in outpatient oncology operations and proven management experience. A Bachelor’s degree is required, with a Master’s degree preferred. Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage diverse teams and operations are essential. Willingness to travel is not required.
