Job Summary and Qualifications

The Nurse Manager OR serves as a leader, team builder, and role model for Surgery and Central Sterile Processing employees. The Nurse Manager actively participate sin service excellence (patient experience), surgeon satisfaction, and staff engagement. The Nurse Manager should have the ability to take a leadership role in departmental development, change management, operational excellence, and creating a healthy work environment.  

What qualifications you will need:

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required 

• Bachelor’s Degree required

• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license 

• A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Health Care Provider is required 

• 5+ years of experience in surgical services, leadership preferred
