JOB SUMMARY:

Northwestern Medical Center (NMC) is seeking a full-time, hospital-employed Cardiologist APP to enhance Cardiology services in our community. The Cardiologist provides primary and specialty medical services to patients of Northwestern's Cardiology Clinic and inpatient consults on Medical/Surgical and ICU, following established standards and practices.

The APP diagnoses, treats and helps prevent diseases for patients with both acute and chronic conditions. You will enjoy working in an outpatient practice from Monday through Friday during daytime business hours. You will work with our Cardiac Rehabilitation program, as well as our Stress Lab. The APP will also provide inpatient and ED consultations during the day as needed. We are interested in a Nurse Practitioner who puts patient care at the forefront and seeks opportunities for career growth and development.

EDUCATION/LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS:

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License
• Clinical experience required; cardiology experience preferred
• Vermont license, (or soon eligible) Vermont DEA (or soon eligible)
