Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team in Anderson, SC. This role involves delivering defined patient care services in a retail clinic environment. You will work collaboratively with a team of professionals to provide holistic, evidence-based care to patients aged 18 months and above.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient-Centered Quality and Safety:- Educate patients on health maintenance to improve quality outcomes.
- Evaluate, recommend, co-manage, and treat patients’ medical needs.
- Document all patient care using an electronic health record system.
- Develop Patient-Centered Practice Teams.
- Respond to patient care inquiries throughout the day.
Customer Service Excellence:- Enhance patient engagement and satisfaction through integrated feedback.
- Maintain effective communication with patients and colleagues.
Healthcare Environment Management:- Resolve conflicts using appropriate management techniques.
- Build relationships among practice employees and colleagues.
- Manage clinical and non-clinical tasks efficiently.
- Adapt to new patient care models to enhance clinic efficiency.
- Uphold core values in all communications and interactions.
- Assist with hiring and development of practice employees.
- Focus on operational effectiveness while ensuring quality of care.
- Validate insurance coverage and incorporate knowledge into care plans.
Experience:- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Application for DEA required at the time of offer.
Education:- Completion of a Master’s Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current National Board Certification and state license to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
Skills:- Strong assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and health counseling skills.
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced retail clinic environment.
- Vaccination: All employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by their start date, subject to approved medical or religious exemptions.
- Work Schedule: Must be available to work every other weekend as part of clinic hours.
