Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical examinations and record patient medical histories.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work and imaging studies.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients, including prescribing medications and therapies.
- Perform procedures, such as suturing wounds and administering injections.
- Provide patient education on preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
Requirements:
- Nurse Practitioner license in VA.
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Proficient in medical terminology and documentation practices.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assess patient conditions accurately.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Experience using electronic health record systems, such as ECW or similar platforms.
- Ability to perform physical examinations and assess vital signs accurately.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Prior experience in primary care or a related field is preferred.
- Interest in clinical research is a plus.

Job Type: Part Time Seasonal
Pay: Starting at $65.00 per hour.
Expected hours: 20-36 per week.
