Overview
The Hospitalist team at the M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center is seeking a Physician Assistant who is passionate about inpatient medicine and excited about clinical quality. This role will function as a critical member of the health care team working collaboratively with a group of Hospitalists (both physicians and advanced practice providers). The care team delivers care to inpatients at the M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center; both East and West Bank campuses.
Practice Details:
+ This position meets our patient needs through working block schedule of 7 on 7 off.
+ 50-100% of schedule is evening hours based on personal preference
+ No nights!
+ FTE is 1.0
+ We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to work on various services.
+ Cross cover
+ Admissions, rounding, discharges
+ Medical consults on inpatient behavioral health
+ Rapid response and code sepsis, optional service
+ Must be interested in working in a large academic environment with high acuity and complex patients.
+ We have a fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC)

Qualifications
+ Graduate of a school of nursing and accredited Adult/Gero, Acute Care, or Family Nurse Practitioner training program
+ BC/BE through the AANP or ANCC
+ Licensed or ability to obtain APRN license with the Minnesota Board of Nursing
+ Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota
+ Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges
+ Inpatient experience preferred
